OPEN CALL FOR NEW MEMBERS
The Community Food Partnership (CFP) of Lowell connects Lowell eaters and growers with the knowledge, resources, and opportunities to be agents of change in shaping our food future. This diverse group of local volunteers combines education, grassroots advocacy, and inclusive community-building to identify gaps in our local food system in an effort to help strengthen food security in Lowell.

Government Funding for Food & Service Programs

The Community Food Partnership (CFP) invites you to a special meeting on March 2, to build solidarity around food access and human services funding. Together, community members and nonprofit workers will brainstorm a specific response to the City of Lowell's choice to align with executive orders that erase specific populations and hinder the critical services nonprofit agencies provide.
The objective of this meeting is to identify talking points and strategies nonprofit agencies can employ to ensure the City of Lowell understands what is at stake. Please consider joining us in-person or via ZOOM. All are welcomed to this public meeting!

HIP Lobby Day at the Massachusetts
State House in Boston
THURSDAY, MARCH 26, 2026
10am - 1pm
Join Mill City Grows and dozens of coalitions and individuals as we advocate together for full funding of the Healthy Incentives Program (HIP) in the fiscal year 2027 budget. We’ll all gather at 10am in room 428 of the State House in Boston for an introduction and briefing, then we’ll visit our legislatures and educate them about the importance of HIP.
